6th Annual Hood River Open
“The sixth annual Hood River Open saw many new firsts. We welcomed six first-time Hood River players, and crowned Dave Wiegand as the first player ever to win the tournament twice. Congratulations as well to Conrad Bassett-Bouchard, Rob Robinsky, and Chris Lipe for their strong finishes, and to Terry Kang for winning the class prize.”

It's remarkable - this tournament takes place in the same lodge, in the same town, on the same weekend, with many of the same people, again and again, every single year, and yet somehow, it absolutely never gets old.
In anticipation of this weekend's tournament, I thought it might be fun to take a look back at the five HOROs past. What follows is a deep dive into the event's history.
