Let’s make the NACC incredible!


Like our players, we aim high. We’re committed to making the North American Collins Championship the best tournament of the year. Here’s what we have in mind.

OUR GOALS

We aim to elevate the tournament experience for everyone by offering the following elements:

  1. Generous prizes for both divisions, and not just for the first place finishers. See the next section for our proposed prize pool!

  2. A top-tier livestream with a diverse, truly international lineup of commentators from around the world. Christian Kay and Andrew Kay will produce the stream. Our first confirmed co-commentator is none other than World Scrabble Champion Adam Logan!

  3. Platinum certification for WESPA Summit Cup qualification. If you’re a top player and want to qualify for Summit Cup, this is your best chance to earn qualification points.

If we reach our $20,000 Platinum fundraising goal, we seek to offer a prize pool similar to what we propose below. The exact number of place prizes will depend on the final number of registered players. If we exceed our goal, the prize pool will be even bigger and better!

DIVISION 1:

  • 1st place - $10,000

  • 2nd place - $4,000

  • 3rd place - $2,000

  • 4th place - $1,00

  • 5th place - $500

  • 6th place - $300

  • Class prize #1 - $400

  • Class prize #2 - $200

  • Class prize #3 - $100

  • Other prizes - $100

DIVISION 2:

  • 1st place - $2,000

  • 2nd place - $750

  • 3rd place - $400

  • 4th place - $200

  • 5th place - $100

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization funded entirely by donations from people like you. For six years, we’ve been able to run tournaments from coast to coast thanks 100% to the support of our donors.

We’re committed to financial transparency and publish our budget online so you can track every dollar we spend. Most donations are tax-deductible. Consult a tax advisor for advice specific to your financial situation.
