7th Annual Hood River Open Scrabble Tournament
“The Hood River Open brings roughly two dozen people to the cozy Panorama Lodge every February for a weekend of home-cooked meals, fireside chats, after-hours games, and one of the most competitive Scrabble fields in North America. The top finishers will receive personalized, wood-burned plaques.”

ENTRANTS LIST
Players are seeded by CoCo rating. WESPA ratings appear in italics and are used to seed players who do not yet have a CoCo rating. Players with no CoCo or WESPA rating have a temporary rating of 0. Asterisks denote tentative/unpaid players. The directors will not be playing in this tournament.
LOGISTICS
This tournament takes place at Panorama Lodge, a rustic wood cabin with magnificent views of Mount Hood. We arrange carpools for players flying in and out of Portland International Airport (PDX). Contact the directors for more information on carpools. If you plan to rent a car, we strongly recommend renting a vehicle with four-wheel drive. The roads leading up to the lodge can be snowy in February.
